Understanding Your Water Bill

1.  Service Address:  This is the address of the property where service is provided.

2.  Account Number:  This is the account number for your property.

3.  Bill Date:  The date your bill was process and mailed.

4.  Meter Reading Dates and Meter Readings:  These are the dates for your current billing, as well as
     the meter readings on those dates.

5.  Consumption:  This is the amount of water used in 100 cubic feet units. i.e. 23 = 2,300 cu.ft.

6.  Water Billing:  This shows the current water bill, unpaid amount and net amount due for the
     current bill.

7.  Sewer Billing: This shows the current sewer bill, unpaid amount and net amount due for the
     current bill.

8.  Net Amount Due:  This is the total water and sewer bill due prior to the discount date.

9.  Gross Amount Due:  This is the total water and sewer amount due after the discount date.

10.  Discount Date:  Net amount due prior to this date and gross amount after this date.

11.  Mailing Address:  This is the mailing address for the bill.  This can be different than the
       service address.

1.  Name and address for mailing your payment.

2.  Web site address for the Authority.

3.  Information for return receipts.

4.  Meter reading codes found on front of bill next to the "to" and "from" meter reading dates.

5.  Customer notice regarding meter protection.
